WITH THE GEN X AND GEN Z BEING DIFFERENT THAN PREVIOUS GENERATIONS. SOCIETY HAS MIXED EMOTIONS ABOUT IMPLEMENTING ROTC. TO ROTC OR TO NOT ROTC THAT IS THE QUESTION?

ROTC or Reserve Officers Training Corps a program for college students where they will be training for the military but is integraded within the school's curriculum. The program was closed for a long time but is now being planned to be implemented into the Grade 11 and 12 and once again in college as Advance Reserve Officers Training Corps but it will be optional.

Unlike in other countries instead of ROTC, they have the Mandatory Military Training. Serving in the military for 6 months to 2 years whether or not an individual wants to.

Although the some prefer the Mandatory Military Training than ROTC, Senator Ronald "Bato" dela Rosa would prefer that ROTC will be the one implemented because it would be better if "dahan dahan muna" than to be implemented harshly. Deped will also be talking with the Department of National Defense about how ROTC will be put in action, according to the Senator.

With that being said, ROTC is yet to be implemented as we are waiting if the senate will be in agreement with Bato. So...Fingers crossed.
